Looking around most major stores that stock anime in my area (JB Hi-Fi, Borders, ezyDVD) I noticed that not one of them stocked any DVD's related to Evangelion...even the brand new released in Australia Evangelion 1.0. However, Borders did have the End of Evangelion...for $99.95. Now that's what I call rare.

So what happened? The Platinum collection was made only 2 years ago, Eva 1.0 was released last November, and the series is viewed as one of the greatest anime of all time. So what, did they just forget it? Because stuff like Evangelion never goes out of print...You see things like Fullmetal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop still lying on the shelves. Could someone explain? It'd be appreciated.
